EventR allows you to synchronise all the activities in an itinerary to your device's local calendar. This toggle can be found in the Notifications, Calendar (& Widgets) screen, under the Summary page. This allows you to use other tools with your itinerary information.

You can filter the sections, [[Activity Category Tags|categories]], and [[Activity visibility levels|public]] items.

We create a specific EventR Calendar, so depending on your settings you may need to enable it to see it. It will begin with "EventR - ".

For this feature to work, you must enable calendar access permissions to EventR in your device settings.

On Android, you'll need to enable a non-Google account (in your Calendar App, Settings, Manage accounts) before the calendars will be visible in the normal user-interface.

Generate Itinerary PDF

EventR allows you to generate a rich PDF containing all the information about your itinerary, allowing you to print it, or send it to people who aren't using the EventR Team App.

You can generate a PDF of your itinerary from the EventR Coordinator Hub, as long as you are an Enterprise-tier organization or higher.

To get started, navigate to the "Itineraries" section, and go to the "Event Information" tab. Here, you can restructure the PDF by dragging sections around, and disable sections entirely by using the checkboxes on the right.

You also have a few options to choose from to change how your PDF is generated:

* Use Original PDF - Generate rows in the style of our Legacy PDF itinerary, in case you need to match existing documents, or simply prefer that style (note that both the Members section and the Condensed Activities option are not supported in the Legacy PDF).
* Condensed Activities - Display Activity items as a single line, headed with a date, a name, and a start and end time.
* Show User Group Notes - Makes per-member-group notes visible.
* Show Member Assignments - Removes all member groups from the items, displaying only event information.
* Enable Category Filter - Enables a filter where you can limit what's shown to only certain categories of itinerary item.
* Enable Visibility Filter - Enables a filter where you can select to show only items set to certain visibilities.
* Enable Status Filter - Enables a filter where you can select items only in a certain status to be shown.

Once you're happy with your options, click "Generate" in the top right. Then, after it finishes processing, click "Open". This will open the PDF in your browser, and from here, you can view it, download it, and print it.

Power List Features

Power lists are a check list you can present to members of you team. At the simplest they can can be used to tick off a list of tasks that have been done. Power list can also be dated with a "Due by" date to let your team know when to complete theirs tasks by. However they can do much more for your event.

This page covers some of the potential use cases along with how they can be practically achieved.

== Applying Costs via Power Lists ==
Power Lists can include costs assigned to individual tasks, for example: “Buy an Event Banner” — £40.

Costs can only be added or managed through the ECH (Event Coordinator Hub). Once a team marks a costed task as completed within the app, administrators in the Coordinator Hub will be able to view the associated cost that has been incurred. All costs go into the EventR Itinerary [[EventR Costing Model|Cost Model]].

The iOS Version of EventR has a Widget that can be used to show the time of the next activity. You can choose to filter which items are scheduled for your widget either under Account, Settings, Widgets for global control; or Notifications, Calendar, & Widgets under the Summary page.

To install it use the normal iOS process. Hold your finger on an empty part of the screen until the elements start to wiggle:

How to add users to EventR via a spreadsheet

The user spreadsheet import export feature supports both CSV (comma separated variables) and XLS format. To get started we recommend downloading the existing user data, then editing the spreadsheet.

Groups can be added with a ',' between them, along with Departments, and Permissions.

If the system has [[user personal data]] turned on in Admin -> Settings, this information will appear too in the export.

If the user being added is new to EventR (e.g. a company email) you may edit the user personal data as an Administrator. However if they are a member of multiple teams or have a personal EventR app with the same email, this data cannot be modified in this way.

When you upload, it is important to have a First Name, Last name, and email address for every users - the Email address is required since that is where the invite will be sent to.

During the upload you may have a conflict, or a partial change. The system will present a dialog allowing to to confirm what you want to do before the upload actually happens.

If [[Departments and Groups]] are not already created, they can be created on the first screen. If you choose not to create them, the users will be added without them.

Once a spreadsheet has been uploaded, users will not receive the invite email until you check the box next to them and select "Invite".
