Address Favouriting is an EventR software feature that allows users to save frequently used addresses to a personal list for quick and convenient access. Instead of manually entering the same address each time, users can select a previously saved address to automatically populate the relevant address field.

The feature is designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce repetitive data entry, and simplify workflows for users who regularly work with multiple addresses.

== Overview ==
Address Favouriting provides a centralised list of saved addresses that users can access whenever an address is required within EventR. Whether it be Activities, Accommodation or a Transport pickup point, the list of favourites will remain the same. These addresses may range from customer locations, business premises and delivery destinations to collection points, warehouses, or other frequently visited locations.

Once an address has been saved as a favourite, it can be selected with a single action, allowing the software to populate the address field without requiring the user to type the information manually.

== Key Features ==

* Save favourite addresses: Add frequently used addresses to a personalised list for future use.
* Quick address selection: Select a saved address directly from the available favourites list.
* Automatic address input: Populate the relevant address field using the selected saved address.
* Reduced repetitive entry: Avoid repeatedly typing or copying and pasting the same address details.
* Convenient access: Keep commonly used addresses readily available during everyday tasks.
* Improved consistency: Reuse saved address information to help minimise typing errors and inconsistencies.

== Benefits to Operations ==

=== Increased Productivity ===
Address Favouriting reduces the time spent entering addresses manually. Users can select an existing favourite instead of repeatedly typing out the same information, allowing them to complete tasks more quickly and focus on other operational responsibilities.

=== Faster Task Completion ===
For workflows that require frequent address entry, even small time savings can accumulate significantly over the course of a working day. Selecting a saved address streamlines routine processes and helps users move between tasks with fewer interruptions.

=== Reduced Data Entry Errors ===
Manually entering addresses multiple times increases the possibility of spelling mistakes, missing information, and inconsistent formatting. Reusing saved addresses helps reduce these risks and promotes greater consistency throughout the workflow.

=== Improved Operational Efficiency ===
By simplifying a repetitive activity, Address Favouriting helps create a smoother and more efficient user experience. Staff can process orders, manage bookings, record jobs, arrange deliveries, or complete other address-dependent tasks with less administrative effort.

=== Enhanced User Experience ===
The feature makes the software more convenient and intuitive to use. Users no longer need to remember, search for, or repeatedly enter common addresses, reducing friction in everyday operations.

== How It Works ==
The Address Favouriting workflow consists of three basic steps:

# Save an address: The user adds a frequently used address to their favourites list.
# Access favourites: When an address is required, the user opens the available list of saved addresses.
# Select an address: The user presses the desired address, and the software inputs the saved details into the relevant address field.

This process enables users to enter common addresses quickly without repeating the full manual entry process.

== Operational Use Cases ==
Address Favouriting can be beneficial across a range of operational environments, including:

* Logistics and transportation: Quickly enter regular collection points, delivery destinations, and depot addresses.
* Order processing: Populate customer or delivery addresses when creating new orders.
* Field service management: Select frequently visited customer sites when scheduling jobs or assigning work.
* Booking and scheduling systems: Reuse common pickup, drop-off, or service locations.
* Business administration: Quickly enter office locations, supplier addresses, and other regularly used business premises.

== Overall Impact ==
Address Favouriting is a practical productivity enhancement that simplifies address entry and reduces unnecessary repetition. By allowing users to save and reuse frequently entered addresses, the feature helps accelerate routine tasks, improve data consistency, and make day-to-day operations more efficient.

Although each individual selection may save only a small amount of time, these savings can accumulate across multiple tasks and users, helping organisations reduce administrative workload and improve overall productivity.
