Public | Public Itineraries allow you as the coordinator to manage that portion of a user's schedule, without direct access to their itinerary. This allows teams to privately coordinate a larger trip, but still include official schedules.
Example: A conference has a simple running order:
* 9 am Registration | |||
* 10 am Keynote | |||
* 12 pm Lunch | |||
* 2 pm Workshops | |||
* 4 pm End | |||
People attending are flying in from different places and need to book hotels, and transfers - they may also be going on to other activities around and after the conference.
If the organiser publishes the schedule, they can provide that portion of the delegate's activities, without encroaching on their private plans. Conversely the delegate can use EventR to manage their trip, without worrying about the schedule being wrong.
Also worth noting the schedule works without the app installed, so can still be used by delegates that don't want to install it.
