EventR has a number of features that require OS permissions. They can be found in the standard iOS Settings App or on the Android Settings App screen.
What we use in iOS
Location
The app uses location to share your location with team members on the Map. If enabled in background it will share while the app is closed, otherwise it will just send out your location if you choose to share your location
Camera
This permission is needed:
- Scanning QR codes to join itineraries
- Photographing receipts for expenses
- Changing your Avatar to a photograph on the Account Tab
Calendars
Calendar Access is needed so EventR can create and update its own calendar in your device's calendar.
Notifications
Notifications are sent by the Chat functionality and by the Notifications settings. If you want to see them you'll need to grant EventR Team access to this option.
