The Rooming List feature in EventR allows users to create, manage, and organise accommodation requirements for an event. It acts as a central workspace for defining booking criteria, tracking room needs, and generating documents to help streamline the process when communicating with accommodation providers.
Rooming Lists are managed on a per itinerary basis.
Accessing Rooming Lists
To find the Rooming Lists feature in the ECH simply navigate to the Itineraries tab and then Accommodation sub tab.
When you have no existing accommodations, button is located bottom centre. Button moves into the header when you have existing accommodations.
How to Use
To create a rooming list, press the "Create Rooming List" button, this will open a full screen modal. It will be pre-filled with your selected itinerary details like location, dates, lead booker (You) etc.
Top bar
Reset: Returns the form to the initial pre-filled state.
Create new: makes a new unsaved rooming list draft.
Close: Closes the full screen modal.
Bottom bar
Save: Saves the current state of the form, will then appear in the sidebar and persist between runs of the ECH.
Delete: Removes the currently selected rooming list. Cannot be undone.
Generate PDF: Generates a PDF for the currently selected (or draft) rooming list with all the information.
Side bar
Search: filters the full list of saved rooming lists by name.
Refresh: refetches the list of rooming lists
List: a list of all saved rooming lists by name, ordered desc by last modified date.
