By default EventR is a permissive environment. This allows people to work collaboratively with the team, and can be very efficient. We internally call this "Guerrilla Mode" as it allows people to adapt and change their plans however they need to. Working in this way allows everyone to adjust anything.

In particular:

  • Anyone can create an Itinerary and add or remove people
  • Anyone can create activities of any type and adjust all their settings
  • Anyone can see everything in the team view - with no visibility restrictions in the team
  • All users are effectively admins

This is perfect for personal use as it allows stops the need for a single coordinator for a group trip (where often there isn't one!).

The opposite of this mode is a locked down configuration
