Overriding a Timezone

All date times default to the Event Timezone so if your Itinerary address is in New York, you will use the New York Timezone (-4h or -5h depending on date). Any event using the default timezone will be adjusted if the event is adjusted, so if you relocate the event to Los Angeles, you'll use the LA Timezone for all event items:

A time using the default event timezone

The fact its tied to the event timezone is shown because the City is in normal weight text (non-bold). If you want to set the timezone to something specific, such as London, select the city and enter a specific timezone:

If the timezone is overridden the city name will be in Bold text. Most of the time you don't want to override the timezone, so if you accidentally override a time, you can set it back to the Event Timezone by scrolling to the top of the list, and selecting "Event TZ". There is one place in the system where timezones are alway overridden which is airports, and flights as they are in fixed locations geographically. With this feature you can have complex events happening globally, correctly scheduled. The Planner view is timezone aware, and also there is a world clock in the app that will show the time in all the timezones used by the itinerary:
