Maps & Event Navigation

The app now gives you a more detailed and interactive way to navigate your events.

With the improved map, you can see stands and exhibitors within event venues, making conventions, exhibitions and other large events easier to understand and navigate. You can also search for key activities and travel arrangements, including accommodation, flights, hire cars and more.

What can you see on the map?

The map provides a visual overview of your event and the locations associated with it.

For events taking place at conventions, exhibitions or other venues with multiple stands, the map can show individual stands and exhibitors. This gives you a much clearer picture of the event layout and makes it easier to understand where everything is located.

Instead of relying solely on lists of bookings or event information, you can use the map to see activities and locations in relation to one another.

Finding stands and exhibitors

When an event includes an exhibition or convention layout, stands can be displayed directly on the map.

This makes it easier to:

See where individual stands are located.
Understand the layout of a venue.
Find exhibitors during an event.
Navigate large conventions and exhibitions.
Get a better overview of the event before you arrive.

The map is particularly useful for larger events where there may be many exhibitors or locations to keep track of.

Search the map

You can also use the map to search for activities and travel arrangements associated with your event.

Search can include things such as:

Accommodation
Flights
Hire cars
Other activities and event-related arrangements

This allows you to quickly locate a specific booking or activity without having to find it manually within the event.

For example, if you want to find your hotel, you can search for the accommodation and view its location on the map. Similarly, you can search for flights, hire cars or other activities to see where they are associated with the event.

Using the map to navigate your event

The map brings your event information together in one visual view.

You can use it to answer questions such as:

Where is my hotel?
Where is a particular exhibitor or stand?
Where are the different parts of the convention located?
Where are my event-related activities?
How are my travel arrangements positioned in relation to the event?

This can be especially useful when planning your movements around an unfamiliar city or a large event venue.

A more detailed view of your event

The improved map is designed to give you more context around your event.

Previously, event information could require you to switch between different parts of the app to understand where activities and locations were. The new map brings more of this information into a single geographical view.

For conventions and exhibitions, the addition of stands provides an extra level of detail, helping you understand the event layout as well as the wider travel and accommodation arrangements around it.

Searching for activities

Activities can be searched for directly on the map, making it easier to find specific event arrangements.

Depending on the information available for your event, this can include accommodation, flights, hire cars and other activities.
