Costing and Budgeting

EventR supports a detailed and complex cost model for your events. It features

• Multiple currencies independently tracked
• Cost centre attribution
• Multiple parts per cost - so taxes, and cost breakdowns for a single purchase can be tracked
• A description
• ISO18245 Merchant category codes for compatibility with third parties
• Optional user attribution
• Equivalent entries in a budget
• Approval status
• Invoice date

At the basic level costs accrue from all the sections to give you an overall amount spent in each currency. At present we make no attempt to convert currencies, though this might change in the future.

The Edit Costs screen also allows you to download and upload an Excel Spreadsheet of the costs to allow for simple import and export from third party systems.
