Storing work permits and documents as personal private stands

Background - in Europe truck drivers now need various permits to cross borders. This challenge was posed to EventR so we came up with a solution that's quick, easy and scalable.

Activities have a the option to be configured as a "Stand". These are untimed and appear on the Summary screen. They can be made private and assigned to a user. Using the ability to copy activities between itineraries allows you to add them to the itineraries you want them to appear.

Full Guide

Step 1 - Create a Template Itinerary

Create a new itinerary, with a date range - this is not that important if you want to use it as a template, but if you want to just give everyone this itinerary for the whole year for instance, set it to the year. Set the address to wherever. Assign members to it that need the permits.

Step 2 - Create a stand per driver

Create a new stand by going to the Activity tab and selecting "Stand" and "+". Then select private from the drop down on the right. Enter the name as "Permits" or user name permits. Then select add member at the bottom, and add the person.

Step 3 - Optional - copy the relevant Stands to the active itinerary

If you would like your users to see everything in one place, using the Copy Feature to copy from the template Documents itinerary to the desired itinerary. This will mean everything will be contained within one itinerary. Note the date offset does not matter with this kind of layout as its not time sensitive.
