Depending on your tier level EventR has a complex Role and Claims permission system. For Premium and Enterprise users you can create new roles with different permissions based on the granular claims available. They are all found in the ECH Admin Screen in the Permissions Tab.

The system defines the following default roles

  • User - default access for all invited users. Can access the EventR Team App and edit itineraries
  • Admin - can access the ECH
  • Guest - read only personal itinerary view, with no visibility of team information
  • Owner - the original creator of the team, and given full access. To change the owner, please contact support.

Roles are assigned on the ECH User Screen in the user details overlay. Roles are cumulative, so you can create Roles for areas of the system and then combine them.

Roles can also have permissions to do things on particular itinerary tags or Sections.

A user can be assigned multiple roles, which will add permissions to what they can do in the system. So make sure the "Admin" box has a check next to it and press Save. The user should log out and in again after being given a new role.
